The Simplest Acts of Kindness Can Make a Big Difference
Chinese New Year, one of the most important festivals in Chinese culture. We grab the chance to release temporarily from a hectic lifestyle that snatch most of our time spending with family and start our journey going back home, just to reunite with our beloved family and meet up with friends that long time no see. Chatting with each other about our own recent life no matter good or bad, enjoying the family peace and time.
Last few years, lots of bad happenings due to Covid have made sudden changes to people's daily life. We face the challenges of not only being restricted to wearing the face mask all the time, some of us are forced to work from home, have been discouraged from meeting up with our loved ones even during Chinese New Year, and some people even lose their jobs and main stream of income, facing survival difficulties. Yet, the less fortunate in society have received a huge impact on their life, their financial situation can become even worse than before.
Fortunately, things have gotten better recently, like having peace after storms, people finally get back to their pace in life. We learnt how life is short and unforeseen, and become more cherishing the time with family and friends. This year, let's celebrate the Chinese New Year with our loved ones, going back home to join for a reunion dinner, decorate our home with red paper-cuts and couplets, express people's delight in the festival and wish for good fortune and happiness.
